Situated on the A7, exit 36, very easy to reach and next to Gasunie and Martiniplaza and the Trade centre. The hotel has comfortable, functional and modern hotelrooms equipped with a.o. airconditioning. Further WiFi, 60 free parkingplaces, a covered swimmingpool, and a non-smoking restaurant available for our guests. Just outside the busy citycentre but nevertheless close by the Groninger Museum, the Martinitoren, the Oosterpoort, the Euroborg and the various shoppingstreets and markets in the centre of town with a lot of restaurants, bars, cafes, etc. Our hotelbikes are, upon availability, free for use for our guests to discover the “best inner city of Holland” and the beautiful region. In the weekend you can enjoy breakfast until noon and on Sunday you can enjoy a late checkout until 15.00 hours.

All the 155 hotel rooms and 2 suites have a fresh modern design including air conditioning, radio channels, cable television, modem connection, telephone, minibar, trouser press and a bathroom with hairdryer and toilet. After a busy working day, please take the opportunity to use our indoor swimming pool, sauna and solarium. Bicycles are also available. Sunday is always a lazy day because you can check out until 15.00 with no additional cost. 80% of our rooms are non-smoking. Restaurants, meeting rooms, corridors and elevators are non-smoking. smoking is allowed in the bar, foyer and meeting rooms lounge.

Comments

On weekdays, the swimming pool is used for swimming lessons. The swimming pool is then closed for guests (14.00 - 19.00). The sauna and solarium will be open. Except during school holidays.

Food & Beverage

In our intimate French style restaurant, La Bonne Maison, and our cosy hotel bar you can enjoy lunch (except at weekends) or dinner as well as your favourite cocktail. Don't forget to try our regional specialties as well as our celebrated "Grands Vins Mercure". The restaurant is opened from 12.00 to 15.00 hours (except on Saturday and Sunday) and from 17.00 to 21.30 hours. The bar is opened from 17.00 to 01.00 hours. The American breakfast is served as a buffet.

American breakfast is not included and costs EUR 15.00 per person.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
