The hotel is close to the bustle of the pedestrian area Grote Markt, and the food market at Vismarkt, and is home to the fourth tallest church tower in the Netherlands. One of the oldest Dutch universities, the University of Groningen, has its historic academic centres nearby. Consequently, the demand for cafes and bars has been answered and you will not struggle to find somewhere pleasant and reasonably priced to eat and drink, relax or people watch.

Food & Beverage

The hotel’s contemporary cuisine is French and varies seasonally. The gourmet restaurant, Bistro 't Gerecht, serves elegant salads, fresh fish, fresh lobster from our lobster tank and steak and chips; just some examples from the menu. It is possible to order most dishes in small portion sizes. On warm days food is served in the hotel's garden; a city garden where breakfast is served on summer days. At breakfast, sample homemade rolls with your eggs, cooked to order. Breakfast is served from 07.00 – 11.00. Dinner is served from 18.00- 22.00.

Buffet breakfast is not included and costs EUR 16.00 per person.
